"Not only does Stephen Forbus have great fundraising ideas, he brings integrity and credibility to any fundraising program."

~ Dan Bates, Marketing Consultant and active board member to several non-profit boards.

Quite simply, we help non-profit organizations connect with new donors, and increase your fundraising income.

We Help You Meet Your Goals to Fulfill Your Mission.

 Heart and Vision

We enjoy helping the community grow by helping non-profit organizations succeed. Vicariously, we help feed the homeless, prevent school violence, educate immigrants and refugees, treat the mentally ill, shelter battered women, provide after school care, provide quality education to youth, protect the environment, rescue animals, advance the arts, redevelop communities, find cures for diseases, and so much more. Stephen Forbus, founder of ProFundraisers Inc., saw a need among small and mid-sized non-profits who needed the help of a professional development director, but could not afford to hire an experienced development officer full time. ProFundraisers Inc. is the out-source development department that non-profits need to succeed in raising more money.

At ProFundraisers, we want non-profit organizations to succeed in meeting the needs of the community, raising donor support that will expand their services, training volunteers in effective fundraising principles, and marketing themselves to their clients and their donors. We are enriching the community through the organizations we serve.

Philosophy

The primary philosophy that we hold is that healthy donors are not born over night, they are nurtured and cultivated through being made partners with the organization and through education about the needs of the organization. More than eighty percent of all charitable giving comes from individual donors, and another seven percent comes from bequests, or those same donors after they have died. Only eleven percent of charitable giving comes from foundations, grants and government funding. That means that successful fundraising over the long haul depends on actively and successfully cultivating individuals from impulsive givers, to habitual givers, to thoughtful and generous partners.

Our Commitment

"Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world, for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me." Matthew 25:34-40
